Yuan is a first-year graduate student, focusing her studies on compact astrophysical objects like neutron stars and black holes, along with their associated phenomena. She dedicates her research to simulating the superfluid system using numerical methods to analyze their hydrodynamic behavior. Further, Yuan is interested in the post-merger signals, aiming to connect theoretical predictions with observations to broaden the knowledge of the kilonovae, neutron star merger and astrophysical transients in general.
