She dedicates her research to simulating the superfluid system using numerical methods to analyze their hydrodynamic behavior. Further, Yuan is interested in the post-merger signals, aiming to connect theoretical predictions with observations to broaden the knowledge of the kilonovae, neutron star merger and astrophysical transients in general.
